Wondercon 2010, Part 1

Over the weekend I went to Wondercon in San Francisco. It's basically a mini version of Comic-Con, with a large emphasis on geeky multimedia. There's also a growing number of webcartoonists who attend these things, so it was fun to meet and talk with other comic creators. At past conventions I usually got photos of the creators I met. This time I decided to change it up and get some sketches instead. I hope you enjoy them.
The first sketch is from Chris Hastings, creator of Dr. McNinja. This is a comic I've always been curious about, so the convention was a good opportunity to pick up a book and dive into it.
The next sketch is from Becky Dreistadt, who is the artist for Tiny Kitten Teeth. Becky has a really unique and fun style.
Of course I had to get a sketch from Zach Weiner of Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. Since he knows about my background in physics, he drew two pterodactyls colliding and annihilating into subatomic particles.
Finally, no collection of sketches from webcomic creators would be complete without one from Meredith Gran of Octopus Pie.
