Okay, Now It's Serious!

Just like all of you, I've been seeing the constant news about the failing economy, but it never quite hit home for me. That is, until today. It was announced in the San Francisco Chronicle that Mother's Cookies is shutting down after being in business since 1914. When I heard the news, I quickly drove to Target to see if they had any more of those famous frosted pink and white Circus Animal cookies. Only a single bag was left! I wiped a tear from my eye as I thought to myself that my daughter will never know the sweet, sweet goodness of these cookies. I realize that these are going to be tough times, but this is ridiculous!
